Helicopter
A helicopter is an aircraft which is lifted and propelled by one or more large horizontal rotors (propellers). Helicopters are classified as rotary-wing aircraft to distinguish them from conventional fixed-wing aircraft. The word helicopter is derived from the Greek words helix (spiral) and pteron (wing). The engine-driven helicopter was invented by the Slovak inventor Jan Bahyl. The first stable, fully-controllable helicopter placed in production was invented by Igor Sikorsky.

Jet
Jet aircraft are aircraft with jet engines. Generally, civil jets fly at altitudes of 30,000 to 45,000 feet (10,000 to 15,000 m), because they are most economical to operate at these altitudes. Jets are not economically efficient at low altitudes, which is why propeller powered airplanes are commonly used for very short routes.

Turboprop
A Turboprop (Turbo-propeller) or turboshaft engine is a type of gas turbine. It differs from a turbofan in that the design is optimized to produce rotating shaft power in order to drive a propeller, instead of thrust from the exhaust gas.
